ELAC Meeting

ELAC is a committee at schools with 21 or more English Learner (EL) students. ELAC members advise school officials on programs and services for EL students. Any interested parents or guardians can attend.

Please join us on Tuesday, February 11th at 7pm for our next PTA meeting. The meeting will be in the staff room, or you can join on zoom. The zoom link has been updated! See new Zoom link here. Come join in the conversation and planning for the various community events we all enjoy! You can read the February agenda linked here and review the minutes from the January meeting at this link.

Pasta Dinner needs volunteers!

Our biggest community event, affectionately called "Pasta Dinner", includes carnival games, spaghetti dinner, Wine Wall, basket raffle, and online auction. This fun event will take place on May 16, 2025.

This event is entirely volunteer-run, and we need your help!

Please consider helping out, or better yet, teaming up with a friend/s to help out. In particular, we need help with the following:

* Carnival Committee-- organize volunteers to run carnival games, order prizes, reserve bounce houses & photo booth.

* Auction Committee -- gather donations from local businesses, maintain online auction website.

* Wine Wall -- organize an event favorite! Gather wine donations from local stores, wineries and individuals. Host a Wine Wall Party (in-person, Zoom or hybrid) to raffle off bottles of wine for ticket buyers.

If you've never helped at an event before, never fear! Not only do we have to-do lists and notes from previous years, but those of us who have volunteered in the past are here to help!

Direct Donation Drive

The PTA funds many programs that our children benefit from every day, and we need your support. Programs such as PE, music, art, field trips, and so much more are funded through the PTA.

Any donation amount is appreciated to meet our funding goals for the school year -- no donation amount is too small! All donations are tax deductible.

Ways to donate:

ONLINE via Credit Card: Click HERE

IN-PERSON: Make checks out to Henry Ford PTA. Cash and Check donations can be delivered to the school office addressed to "PTA Direct Donations".

CORPORATE GIFT MATCHING: Don't forget corporate gift matching! Please email officers@henryfordpta.org if you plan to submit your donation for matching. If you don't know if your company matches, just ask!
